Drawing its name from the Saluda River, the county was established in 1895 and traces its early history to a 1755 treaty between the Cherokee Indians and the British.

CHALLENGE: A labor-intensive antiquated system
When Sheri Coleman took office as the Register of Deeds for Saluda County, South Carolina, she knew immediately that she needed to make a change. We used to have to close early just to do reconciliations and month-end.”
